Instructions

Step 1: Sketching and Barrel Design

  • Begin by sketching out the structure.

  • Select a pen tube with a suitable spring inside and design the main launching barrel.

Step 2: Making the Web Projectile

  • Wrap a slim wooden craft stick with white paper and attach the sewing thread to it to create a projectile.

  • Attach other end of the thread to the base of the storage tube to keep the thread continuous during launch.

Step 3: Casing and Components

  • Using cardboard, build the outer shape. (You can design your own shape here)

  • Fix both the launching tube and a separate web storage tube inside the box.

Step 4: Building the Trigger

  • Craft a T-shaped trigger using an ice cream stick.

  • Reinforce sides with paper strips to make it longer.

  • Install trigger at the bottom of the box which will temporarily block or release the tube’s opening when pressed.

Step 5: Creating the Wrist Strap

  • Fold paper strips to make two wristbands.

  • Glue one side to underside of the box

  • Fit the other side of strip with Velcro for easy wearing.

Step 6: Final Assembly and Decoration

  • Decorate the top with a logo using carved color-paper.
